Bogota, Colombia – North Korea and Japan progressed to the finals of the ongoing 2024 FIFA under-20 women’s world cup in Colombia.
In the semi-final matches played early Thursday, North Korea defeated United States of America (USA) 1-0 while Japan eliminated the giant-killing Netherlands 2-0.
The results mean that USA will take on Netherlands in the third-place match on 21September while North Korea meet Japan in the final match the following day.
