3-storey building under construction collapsed in Lagos

A three-storey building under construction at number one Isalegangan street by Itafaji, Lagos Island Council Area, has collapsed, causing panic among residents of the community.

The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident in Ikeja.

Dr Oke-Osanyintolu said the building collapsed at fifteen minutes after ten o’clock in the morning during the downpour.

He said that no casualty was recorded.
