In a bid to give back to the society, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu has donated a well equipped clinic to the African Cathedral Church in Ifako.

Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who inaugurated the modern clinic said it was in honour of the LASEMA Permanent Secretary’s late parents, Chief and Mrs Oluwayomi Oke-Osanyintolu, to assist the less privileged in qualitative healthcare delivery service.

Dr. Sanwo-Olu who personally conducted medical checkup on some beneficiaries lauded Dr. Oke-Osanyintolu for the sophisticated medical equipment at the clinic to serve the people better.

Dr. Sanwo-Olu called on other well meaning Nigerians to support government’s efforts at providing basic amenities for their immediate environment.

Earlier, the presiding Cleric of the Church, the Rt. Revd. Isaac Akinwunmi Falana commended the initiative of reconstructing the clinic to serve more people within the church and Ifako environs.

The Diocesan Bishop made a call to government to subsidize the cost of drugs which is increasingly on the high side.

During the dedication ceremony, some members of the congregation were checked for blood sugar level, high blood pressure and HIV amongst others.
