The Labour Party has chosen former Presidential aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Yusuf Datti Ahmed, as the vice-presidential candidate of the party.
Presidential candidate of the Party, Mr Peter Obi, made the announcement in Abuja where he said the delay was because of the detailed effort in the search for an eminently qualified candidate for the office.
He said, “I have the singular honour to present by the grace of God, the next Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed.”
