The Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Amb. Sarafa Isola, has commended members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) based in UK for being good ambassadors in their host country.
A statement made available by ICAN-UK, in Lagos, said that Isola stated this during a courtesy visit by the Executives of the ICAN-UK and District Society.
The visit was led by the district Chairman, Princess Adebimpe Kudehinbu, to the Nigerian High Commission at Northumberland Avenue in London.
The Ambassador noted that none of ICAN-UK members had been involved in any of the several issues the High Commission has dealt with in the UK.

“As one of the foremost professional groups in the UK, we plan to advance our collaboration with your Excellency in the interest of our members and our dear country Nigeria.
“You can count on our member’s competency, capacity and integrity should any need to offer national service arise.
“Our district society is proud to represent ICAN Nigeria in the UK on all fronts through our VAR Model, which means : Visible, Acknowledged and Relevant.
