Ikpeazu charges Nigeria’s most beautiful girl to remain focused

MBGN Miss Ada Eme

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia has advised the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Pageant, Miss Ada Eme, to remain focused and resilient.

Ikpeazu gave the advice when Eme paid him a courtesy visit at the Government Lodge, Aba on Friday.

According to him, being resilient and focused will help her to accomplish great feats.

He extolled her brilliance, charisma and carriage, adding that these were character traits that Abia people were known for.

Ikpeazu further commended her for making the state proud.

He said that her victory in the competition had made Abia “to score another first position”.

He promised that the State Government would support her in all her pet projects.

He further assured her of government’s support for her to represent Nigeria at the 2023 Miss World beauty pageant.

Ikpeazu thanked Silverbird Group for providing young people with opportunities to develop their capabilities and potential.

Earlier, the President of Silverbird Group, Mr Guy Murray-Bruce, described Eme as one that shows deep commitment to her dreams and aspirations.

Murray-Bruce said that she competed for the MBGN title on three occasions and eventually emerged winner in her fourth attempt.

He said that Eme would represent Nigeria at the 2023 Miss World competition.

In a remark, Eme lauded the state government for evolving programmes and policies aimed at promoting self reliance and improvement amongst the youths.

She said that she was overwhelmed by her victory and thanked Ikpeazu for receiving her.

She promised to live by the crown and make Abia, Nigeria and the rest of the world proud.
