Rev. Canon Lumen Eboh has declared that the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate in the Nov. 8 governorship poll in the state, Mr Paul Chukwuma, will emerge winner.

Eboh a popular Clergy in Awka Diocese, Anglican Communion made the declaration in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area (LGA) of the state on Sunday during a prayer session.

The prayer attended by the deputy governorship candidate of the YPP, Mr Uzu Okagbue.

The Clergy is also the Spiritual Director, God in Action Ministry, Agulu, Anaocha LGA of the state where the prayer session was conducted.

He said that the state deserves light as all hope was not lost because Chukwuma and Okagbue are coming with the fear of God and would govern with the fear of God.

According to him, Mr Paul Chukwuma and Mr Uzu Okagbue are coming with the fear of God and are going to govern Anambra state with the fear of God.

They will cause Anambra state to shine like a thousand stars.

Eboh further undertook a personal attestation on the suitability and character of the candidates, assuring worshippers that the YPP team would not disappoint.

He called on Okagbue to address the congregation and announced that, “victory is yours in the coming election.”

Responding, Okagbue maintained that Chukwuma was prepared to govern the state.

“My boss, Mr Paul Chukwuma will govern Anambra state with humility, purpose and milk of human kindness, which contrasts with the present situation,” he said.

He assured the congregation that if elected, government would reduce taxes by creating more businesses and strengthening existing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, (MSMEs) across the state.

He also assured the people that insecurity would be tackled to attract more businesses under their watch.

Recalls that during this year’s easter celebrations in April, Eboh endorsed the current governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

However, Eboh stressed that there will be a change of government in November and that the YPP is poised to take over from Soludo.
