
Hon. Chisom Anyim, Son of Former President Pius Anyim, has described his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ivo Constituency in the Ebonyi House of Assembly as a call to service in the interest of his people.
Anyim who emerged as a consensus candidate, said that his mandate does not belong to him alone but to his constituents who have demonstrated their love and belief in him.
The Son of the Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) said that he will pursue an issue-based agenda and enhance the well-being of the people when elected.
“This is one of the most peaceful and transparent primaries witnessed in recent times in Ebonyi the as it was credible and rancour-free.
“The peaceful conduct of the primaries reflects Governor Francis Nwifuru’s commitment to internal democracy, unity and inclusive leadership within the party.
“I express deep appreciation to President BolaTinubu, Governor Francis Nwifuru, party stakeholders and the people of Ivo Local Government Area for the confidence reposed in me”.
He appreciated PresidenTinubu for his purposeful leadership and unwavering commitment to strengthening democracy in Nigeria.
” I am equally grateful to our dear Governor Francis Nwifuru for providing a level playing field and ensuring peaceful primaries across the state.
“I commend the party leaders, women, youths and stakeholders in Ivo LGA for their support, unity and maturity throughout the primary process.
“Youth empowerment, quality education, agriculture, healthcare, infrastructural development and employment opportunities, among others, would be key priorities of my legislative agenda.”
He pledged to be a true voice of the people, sponsor bills and motions that would positively impact the communities and attract meaningful development projects to them.
“I will maintain close contact with constituents at all times as responsive and accountable leadership remains the foundation of effective representation.
“I will continue supporting Governor Nwifuru’s developmental strides in Ebonyi State while aligning with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the national level.
he Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area, Chief Emmanuel Ajah, alongside party faithful and stakeholders in the area, expressed confidence in Anyim’s capacity to deliver quality representation at the State House of Assembly.
