In a bid to foster collaboration, The Collective Movement (TCM), National Executive Members visited the Talban of Mina, H.E. Babangida Aliyu, the former Governor of Niger State.

During the visit, both groups engaged in a fruitful discussion on innovative ways to incorporate more youths into the political landscape and drive Nigeria’s progress.

The members took the opportunity to introduce The Collective Movement (TCM) to H.E. Babangida Aliyu, who warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed enthusiasm about the group’s vision.

Aliyu, however, pledged to provide the necessary support to further TCM’s objectives.

The Collective Movement is more than a platform; it is a dynamic and inclusive force for progress, rooted in the belief that unity and purpose can transform societies.

Founded in response to the growing need for credible leadership and active civic engagement, TCM was established to empower citizens, amplify voices, and champion impactful change.

The group is a non-partisan, people-driven initiative committed to building a new Nigeria through political engagement, community mobilization, and social advocacy. Our foundation is built on the principles of truth, justice, and collective responsibility.

Its vision is to become the leading civic movement in Nigeria dedicated to nurturing informed citizens and accountable leaders who shape a more equitable and prosperous future.

TCM’s mission is to unite Nigerians across all divides with one mind and one purpose, to reclaim our national values, demand transparency, and ensure every citizen has a voice in the decisions that shape their lives.

On grassroots mobilization, the group is involved in organizing campaigns and town halls that connect leaders and communities directly, whereas on

Civic Education, TCM engages in equipping citizens with knowledge about their rights, responsibilities, and the power of their vote.

TCM engages institutions to push for inclusive, people-centered policies and reforms, creating platforms for underrepresented groups to lead and thrive; supporting visionary leaders like H.E. Atiku Abubakar, whose track record aligns with our values of competence, unity, and reform.
