This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba, Mr Osaigbovo Iguobaro and made available to newsmen in Benin.

He noted that the Iyoba N’ Uselu title began during the era of Queen Idia, the mother of Oba Esigie, in 16th Century in Benin Kingdom.
