Sitting President Julius Madmada Bio is leading with 1,067,666 votes in Sierra leone’s Presidential election.
Sixty percent of the results of the Presidential Elections held on Saturday has already been released by the Electoral Commission on Monday 26th June 2023:
His closest rival Opposition candidate of APC Samura Kamara of APC had 793,751 votes.
If no candidate gets the mandatory 55 percent in the first round, the two frontrunners will go into a run-off vote two weeks after the official release of the first round results.
