CAF mourns departed Cameroonian soccer star, Landry Nguemo

Cairo – Saddened by the demise of Cameroonian International footballer, Landry Nguemo, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has sent condolences messages to his family.

The 38-year-old, who played for Celtic and Bordeaux amongst other clubs, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Thursday, 27 June 2024.

CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, personally sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of Landry Nguemo, Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), as well as the entire Cameroon Football Family.

“May Landry Nguemo’s soul rest in eternal peace,” Motsepe’s condolence message conclude.
