Convocation: Paul University sets to graduate 385 1st degree students

The Paul University Awka, Anambra State is to graduate 385 first-degree students at its 4th convocation ceremony scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6.

Prof. Godwin Oni, Vice-Chancellor Administration of Paul University, made this known in a press statement issued on Tuesday by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Sir Ikechukwu Abana.

Oni said the institution would give an Honorary doctorate degree to some individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the church and Nigeria.

He added that the convocation lecture would be delivered by Hon. Val Ozigbo, former Governorship candidate of PDP in the Anambra 2021 election.

“The Primate of All Nigeria, Archbishop Metropolitan, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, His Grace, Rev. Henry Ndukuba will be installed as the Chancellor of Paul University.

“A total of 385 graduates will convocate as well as four doctorate awardees,” Prof. Oni said.

Paul University is owned by Anglican Communion across 55 dioceses and Most Rev. Alexander Ibezim is the Archbishop of the Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese.
