COWA donates exercise books, other materials to needy beneficiaries

Kaduna, Nigeria – The Kaduna chapter of the Customs Officers Wives Association (COWA), under the leadership of Hajiya Fadila Ahmed, on Thursday presented gifts to support wives of officers who recently had new babies.

COWA also presented 1,000 customized exercise books and writing materials to pupils of the Customs Primary School in Barnawa, Kaduna.

This was disclosed at a General Meeting of COWA on Thursday at Kabala Doki, Kaduna, by Hajia Fadila, wife of the Customs Area Controller, Kaduna.

During the meeting, Hajiya Fadila, unveiled several initiatives, including distributing gifts to spouses of recently delivered officers, visiting the Customs Primary School in Barnawa Kaduna, and registering new members.

The visit and presentation of the materials were the highlight of the day and these delighted both staff and students, who expressed profound gratitude, noting that it was the first such visit from the association’s leadership.

Hajiya Fadila also promised to relay the school’s challenges to the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, through the Association’s President, Mrs. Kikelomo Adeniyi.
