Editors to hold convention, elect new leaders June in Owerri

The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) will hold its 2023 National Biennial Convention in Oweri, the Imo State capital, between June 15 and 17, 2023.

According to the General Secretary of the NGE Iyobosa Uwugiaren, PhD, in a statement, the elections will usher in a new Executive Committee for the guild. 

He added that the convention “will also afford us a huge opportunity to examine media issues arising from the 2023 post-election.

With a theme “Post 2023 Election: Promoting Professionalism for Enhancement of Democracy and Good Governance”.
