Edo decides: PDP kicks off grand finale rally

Benin, Nigeria – Supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo, on Saturday were in jubilant mood at the ongoing grand finale campaign rally of the party in the state.

The grand finale rally is holding at the Garrick Memorial Grammar School ground in Benin, the state capital.

Party members and support groups were optimistic that the PDP would triumph at the governorship election holding next Saturday.

Security personnel from various security agencies in the state were also on ground to provide security.

The campaign rally had resulted in gridlock in major roads in the Benin metropolis.

The venue of the rally was a sight to behold with supporters dressed in various colours of customised party shirts, hats and customised wrappers.

As they await the official kick off of the ceremony, the Disc Jockey (DJ) rendered melodious party songs and others to the admiration of all.

The Chairman, National Campaign Council, Edo 2024 Governorship Election and Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is expected to lead other members of the council to the ceremony.

The campaign council had two Co-Deputy Chairmen, Governor of Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori, and his Taraba counterpart, Gov. Kefas Agbu.
