Embrace peace, Harmonious co-existence for Success – Osuoza Charges Deltans

Delta State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, has emphasized the need for Deltans, especially youths, to embrace peace and harmonious coexistence which would provide the enabling environment for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration to implement and deliver more dividends of democracy under the MORE Agenda, to the people.

The Commissioner’s admonition was contained in a brief statement which reads: “Since May 29, 2023, when he assumed office as the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori has made it very clear that Peace is Priceless and his administration would ensure that sustainable peace reigned across the Three Senatorial zones in Delta State.

“To achieve this very crucial governance mandate, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori made sure it was enshrined in the MORE Agenda under the Enhanced Peace and Security mandate”.

According to the Information Commissioner, “Peace and security creates the right atmosphere for social and economic life, it enhances Job Creation efforts and strategies for youths, improves living conditions for our people, ensures Social stability and security of lives and properties, and most importantly, encourages the administration to embark on massive and life impacting social and infrastructural development and the delivery of more democracy dividends for the people.

“Let us support our dear Governor Sheriff Oborevwori by embracing peace and harmonious coexistence as he continues to deliver MORE goodies for Deltans”, the statement concluded.
