In what is perceived as a repulsive act of bestiality, a sex-starved pervert, who raped a chicken at Viniklang in Girei council area of Adamawa State, has been apprehended by the police.

The 17-year-old Lawali Mori, who is a resident of the community, was caught in the act by the owner of the male fowl.

Persecondnews recalls that on August 19, 2016, a 19-year-old welder apprentice was also caught having sex with a chicken in the Continental area of Akure, the Ondo state capital.

Mrs Stella Akintola, who is the boy’s neighbour and reared chickens in the compound, heard her chickens making noise inside their pen and decided to go and find out why they were restless.

Shockingly, she found the boy raping the chicken.

However, the Adamawa boy’s arrest followed a complaint by one Esther Dimas, a resident of Viniklang, after she caught the suspect in the act.

The suspect during interrogation by the police had allegedly confessed he sexually assaulted the male fowl.

Mori “could not give any cogent reasons for carrying out the act”, according to a statement by the spokesman for Adamawa State Command, DSP Suleiman Ngoruje, while confirming the arrest of the teenager on Friday.

Nguroje said Mori was arrested for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a cock, a crime he described as one that was against the order of nature.

Expressing worry over the act of bestiality, Police Commissioner Afolabi Babatola, ordered a discreet investigation into the matter.
