
Abia State Governor Alex Otti visited former Imo State Governor Senator Rochas Okorocha in Abuja, where both leaders hosted a dinner attended by Labour Party lawmakers and top officials.
Otti Meets Okorocha in Maitama
Governor Alex Otti paid the courtesy visit on Friday at Okorocha’s residence in Maitama, Abuja.
Furthermore, the former Imo governor hosted Otti and members of his delegation to a private dinner banquet.
The gathering brought together political leaders and government officials from Abia State.
Meanwhile, sources said both men have maintained a warm relationship long before entering active partisan politics.
Labour Party Lawmakers Present
Governor Otti arrived with members of the Labour Party caucus in the House of Representatives.
Those present included Ginger Onwusibe, Mascot Ikwechegh, Munachim Alozie, and Obi Aguocha.
Furthermore, the visit highlighted growing political ties among leaders in the South East region.

Abia Officials Attend Dinner
Also present were members of the Abia State Executive Council and senior aides.
They included Hon. Ikechukwu Monday, Hon. Ngozi Felix, Hon. Odinakachi Eric Eme, and the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Chinonye Mba Uzoukwu.
Meanwhile, the dinner created a relaxed setting for talks among political associates and invited guests.
Senator Okorocha received the delegation with members of his family.
Those present included his wife, Mrs. Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, and his daughter, Uju Okorocha.
Furthermore, Uju Okorocha currently serves as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health and Focal Person on Nutrition.
