Lagos, April 25, 2024 – The fear of not succeeding could fuel a lot of people, but to Nollywood movie producer, Chidinma Joyce Okonkwo, it is something that is not an option.

Chidinma who has so far done three movies, said the hunger is there and all she wants is to see herself in the biggest platforms as a film producer.

She said that there have been a lot of things that could have put her at the lowest spots, but she will always brush them aside and keep moving.

“I just keep moving and I want to keep moving no matter what”, she said, adding that “The industry is a tough one and in most cases filled with noise makers, but my goal is to be outstanding and succeed at the same time”

“I have some wonderful people around me, I keep learning from them, and when you are this determined, there is no stopping for you”, she said.

The movies, ‘Regardless’; ‘Special Center’; and ‘Before You’, have marked the beginning of her movie production career, but Chidinma who has also explored music said there are other things that drive her.

Being a member of the Bold Line Entertainment, a movie production company, she said her major roles are film production and artist management.

“Beside being a producer and a continuity officer I used to be, I enjoy talent management and in our team that is what I do”, she said.

She has been the one behind the management of activities of teen-star, Uchechi Treasure Okonkwo popularly known as Adakirikiri, one role she said has to be handled as if her life depends on it.

“Young talents are delicate especially when they are females. People come with funny offers and you have to know what is right and what truly represents what your artist stands for”

“I have been on this for years, watching Treasure develop from a little girl to the person she is today and for sure I have learnt a lot. I want to further use the experience to do more, but at the moment, my hunger is on taking my game to the best platforms. That is the main goal”, she added.
