Kidnapped passengers on GIG, ABC buses released – Police

The Ikogi State Police Command has confirmed the release of the kidnapped passengers on GIGM and ABC Transport buses from their adoptors on Feb. 8.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) SP William Aya made the disclosure.

According to the Police, the passengers kidnapped on God Is Good Motors (GIGM) and ABC Transport buses in Kogi State, have regained freedom.

Fourteen passenger were travelling in two different buses from the East to Abuja when they were abducted at Inyenle Eteke, Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State, last Friday, Feb. 2.

He, however, did not explain whether the victims were rescued by security or whether ransom was paid before they were set free.

“Just been informed by the DPO that all the kidnapped victims of God is Good Motors and ABC regained their freedom,” Aya said.
