The Lagos State Command and Control Centre (LSCCC) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration through a strategic engagement with the 9 Brigade Nigerian Army aimed at enhancing coordinated security and emergency response operations across Lagos State.

The high-level meeting, held at the Headquarters of the 9 Brigade Nigerian Army, brought together senior military officers and the management team of LSCCC to deliberate on operational synergy, intelligence sharing, rapid response coordination, and improved communication frameworks.

Speaking during the engagement, the General Manager of LSCCC, Mr Femi Kennedy Giwa emphasized the critical role of strategic partnerships in sustaining a secure and resilient Lagos.

He noted that the Command and Control Centre, as the State’s central emergency communication hub operating the toll-free lines 767 and 112, relies heavily on strong collaboration with security agencies, including the Nigerian Army, to ensure swift and effective emergency response.

The Commander, 9 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General A.O Owolabi, reaffirmed the Brigade’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance public safety and strengthen the State’s security architecture.

He commended the Lagos State Government’s investment in technology-driven emergency coordination and stressed the importance of seamless cooperation between military and civilian agencies.

Both parties agreed to deepen operational engagement through structured communication channels, joint response protocols where necessary, and sustained collaboration in areas of mutual strategic interest.

The engagement underscores the shared resolve of the Nigerian Army and the Lagos State Government to safeguard lives, protect critical infrastructure, and maintain peace and stability within the State.
