There was pandemonium at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja when an aircraft belonging to Max Air crash landed.

No life was involved in the accident as all the passengers on the aircraft were safely evacuated following emergency operations.

It was gathered that immediately after the aircraft crash landed, one of its tyres burst into flames.

Aviation sources said that there was a quick response by the Aerodrome Rescue and Fire-fighting Service (ARFFS) as they mobilised their personnel to put out the fire.

The accident caused delays in normal airport operations, thereby leaving many flights of other airlines not to keep to their flight reschedules.
