NASME chairman, Yeye Dada galvanises support for NMSMEs Ecosystem

Chairman, Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Lagos State Chapter, Yeye Modupe Dada, has galvanized support for her members in Lagos.

Dada disclosed this at a news conference to unveil her vision for NASME Lagos Chapter in Lagos.

According to her, the vision is aimed at enhancing supports for entrepreneurs within the Nano, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NMSMEs) ecosystem.

Dada, who is also the CEO of O.B.A Integrated Global Ventures and the first female Lagos State Chapter chairman said that her focus areas included fostering collaboration, facilitating access to finance, prioritizing capacity building initiatives, cultivating networking opportunities and access to market, and developing value-oriented programmes aligned with business cluster strategies.

She said that her administration would strive to revive inactive members, emphasizing empathy and regular team visits as well as to be a mouthpiece to the entrepreneurs on sustainability and continued operations in the present worsening economic situation in the country.

“In the same vein, there will be a robust working and mutually beneficial relationship with the national body of the association.,” Dada said.

She noted that the vision aligns with NASME Lagos Chapter and NASME National objectives, ensuring a brighter future for members and the broader entrepreneurial community.

The chairman encouraged members to prepare for the new dispensation by structuring their businesses to meet international standards, emphasizing competitiveness and demand.

She stressed that for members to thrive in 2024, tthey should innovate their services and products, making them more competitive and in demand.

“The chapter plans to pay courtesy visits, revalidate ties with government agencies, regulatory authorities and financial institutions, as well as explore new opportunities for members’ benefits,” Dada said.

She called for esteemed confidence and supports from her team and members at large.
