Nestlé Nigeria has rewarded 16 outstanding distributors with new trucks to recognise their strong sales performance and reinforce its commitment to shared business growth across Nigeria.
Nestlé Nigeria honoured 16 distributor partners for helping keep its products available across the country.
The company said the award celebrates long-term partnerships that strengthen businesses, expand market reach and connect millions of Nigerians with trusted brands.
The distributors earned the recognition after recording strong national sell-out performance and delivering consecutive volume growth in both 2024 and 2025.
They achieved the feat despite inflation, foreign exchange volatility and changing consumer buying habits. Each winner received a new distribution truck.
Nestlé Nigeria said the investment will strengthen its distributor network through better logistics, inventory management, operational support and wider market coverage.
Nestlé Nigeria works with more than 200 distributors nationwide. Together, they supply over 200,000 retailers and ensure millions of consumers can access Nestlé products every day.
The company said the distribution network also supports thousands of Nigerian businesses, retailers, logistics providers and entrepreneurs.
It added that the network creates jobs, drives economic activity and strengthens communities across the country.
Commercial Manager of Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Boladale Odunlami, said the company’s success depends on the success of its distributors.
She said distributors play a key role in ensuring consumers can buy Nestlé products across Nigeria.
Odunlami added that the company will continue investing in its partners to build stronger businesses, create shared value and strengthen Nigeria’s retail value chain.
Nestlé also gave special recognition to two of the 16 distributors for outstanding business recovery in 2025.
The company praised their resilience and determination in returning to growth despite a difficult business environment.
Distributors Welcome Recognition
Furthermore, Chairman of SEDDT Nigeria Limited, Alhaja M.D. Jolaosho, spoke on behalf of the award recipients.
She said running a distribution business requires dedication and teamwork.
Jolaosho said the recognition would encourage distributors to invest more in their businesses, serve customers better and deepen their partnership with Nestlé Nigeria.
Nestlé Nigeria said it will continue investing across its value chain, from suppliers and distributors to retailers.
The company said the strategy will help more Nigerian businesses grow while making quality food and beverages available to millions of consumers.
