New poll ranks Kwankwaso, Obi over Tinubu, Atiku

An opinion poll result emerged on Thursday indicating that Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso and Mr Peter Obi will emerge frontrunners in the Feb. 25 Presidential election.

According to the poll conducted by a private organisation – Poll Consulting, Nigerians randomly expressed their preferences for the four candidates in the presidential election.

The respondents ranked the former governor of Kano State,  Rabiu Kwankwaso in the  first position, followed by former governor of Anambra State.

Kwankwaso led with 35 per cen while Peter Obi scored 26 per cent.

Also, Sen. Bola Tinubu came third with 25 per cent in the poll followed by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who trailed in the fourth position  with 14 per cent .

However, the validity of the opinion poll will be tested on Saturday, Feb. 25 when the electorate will prove or disprove the various polls on Nigeria’s presidential race.
