The Intemational Public Relations Association Limited (IPRA) says that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been selected as the winner of the IPRA Golden World Awards (GWA) 2024.

Mr Philip Sheppard, Secretary General, IPRA, said this in a statement on Friday, in Lagos.

I am delighted to inform you that your campaign entry: 100 Days of Impactful PR at Customs Service", is a winner of the Golden World Award (GWA) of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA).

The campaign of the Nigeria Customs Service, which was carried out in collaboration with its Image Merchants Promotion Limited, won the Crisis Management category of the award.

You and your team are therefore invited to attend the IPRA Golden World Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade, Serbia, on Oct. 18,'' he said.

Sheppard noted that the annual IPRA Golden World Awards initiative was established in 1990.

It recognises excellence in public relations practice worldwide in 60 categories. Recipients of the award take particular pride in the recognition granted to their entry as meeting international standards of excellence in public relations.

“An overall IPRA Grand Prix for Excellence is presented each year to the entry and is judged as representing the year’s highest standards,” he said.
