Nigeria National Day: U.S.A congratulates Nigerians on 64th anniversary

The United States of America has extended its congratulations to the people of Nigeria on the 64th anniversary of independence.

Antony J. Blinken, Secretary of State in a press statement said that Nigeria exemplifies dynamism and resilience in Africa and is a key contributor to regional peace and stability.

”Our partnership is built on mutual respect, shared democratic values, strong people-to-people ties, and commitment to fostering peace, prosperity, and security.

”We are committed to deepening our cooperation in areas such as advancing inclusive economic development, energy access, democracy and human rights, and environmental sustainability.

”I look forward to our continued collaboration to advance our shared goals and tackle global challenges in the year to come.

”On this special day, I send my best wishes to all Nigerians for a peaceful and prosperous future.”
