Nigerian wrestlers return to action in male freestyle wrestling

Nigerian wrestlers will return to action on Monday in the male Freestyle Wrestling after recording an incredible six gold in six female wrestling catégories.

Nigeria for the first time clinched six gold out of six events in female Wrestling in 32-years when nigeria freestyle men did it at the 1991 African Games in Cairo Egypt.

At 10am in the 125kg Issah Fuseini (GHA) will take on Ashton A. A. Mutuwa (NGR) while 86kg HARRISON O. (NGR) battle Mahmoud A. (EGY).

Also, in the 57kg Simeon E. (NGR) will face Kilandi R. (COD)/Frimpong M. (GHA) and Izolo Stephen (NGR) entertain Ngonda M. (ANG) in the 65kg.

The first round matches will be concluded when Nigeria’s Braveman Oyeinkeperemo in the 74kg tackle Ben M. (TUN).
