The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) and Nigeria Aquatics Federation will hold a Level 2 Technical Coaching Course from September 15 to 19, 2026, at the NOC Secretariat in the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
According to Tony Nezianya, Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), the five-day intensive programme forms part of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) continued effort, through Olympic Solidarity, to help member nations develop qualified coaches who can produce world-class athletes.
The training will upgrade the technical skills of Nigerian coaches and align local coaching standards with international best practices.
South African Expert to Lead Training
However, Mr Finch Cedric, a certified technical expert from South Africa, will serve as the lead facilitator for the course.
In addition, Mrs Olaniyan Dolapo Rofiat, a staff member of the NOC Secretariat, will coordinate the course. NOC President, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, will declare the programme open.
