Lagos, April 27, 2026 – The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) is set to redefine the landscape of Nigerian sports with the official inauguration of the Olympafrica Centre and the groundbreaking ceremony of the highly anticipated Olympic Resident Estate Project.

This was contained in a statement by Tony Nezianya
NOC PRO on Monday in Lagos.

For years, the Olympafrica Centre has served as a quiet engine for athletic development; now, it takes centre stage.

This event marks a strategic evolution for the NOC, merging functional athletic facilities with an innovative residential concept that fosters a sustainable sporting ecosystem.

The centrepiece of this development is the Olympic Estate, a novel residential project integrated directly into the NOC grounds.

This “Live-Train-Play” model reflects a growing global trend in sports infrastructure, ensuring elite facilities and modern living spaces coexist to support the next generation of Nigerian champions.

Event Details:
Venue: Olympafrica Sports Centre, Alakoso Avenue, Amuwo Odofin Estate, Lagos.

A key landmark is its proximity to the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Church HQ on the Oshodi-Mile 2 Expressway.

The existing Facilities are standard football pitch, Athletics Tracks, Volleyball & Basketball courts, and a multi-purpose indoor sports Hall.

This event is set for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, while the launch is set to commence at 11 am.
