NYSC Charged Corps Members To Continue upholding The Scheme’s Ideals

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has charged corps members to continue upholding the scheme’s ideals as they continue climbing the ladder of life.

The NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr Moses Oleghe gave the charge in Port Harcourt, to the 2025 Batch B Stream I Corps Members who successfully completed their service year.

Oleghe reminded them of the ideals of patriotism, discipline, honesty, integrity, commitment and dedication to duty, which are halmarks of the corps.

“I urge you to imbibe and uphold these values in your daily lives in order to build a successful life and career.

“I deeply appreciate the tremendous support of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the good people of Rivers state to the corps.

“”The support has created a conducive environment for the corps members to excel and we appeal for its sustenance,”

A total of 2, 361 Corps Members successfully completed the service year and out of the number, 941 are males while 1, 420 are females.

35 corps members made up of 21 males and 14 females, are to serve extension of service.

Nine corps members made up of 7 males and 2 females will repeat the entire service year while 2 corps members made up of 1 male and 1 female, won the State Honors Award.

The service year recorded zero death to the glory of God.
