Port Harcourt, Nigeria – The Rivers State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Moses Oleghe, has advised corps members posted to the state to take their 10-day, 3-hour per day in-camp Skills.Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) SAED training, seriously.

Oleghe gave the advice on Tuesday while flagging off the training for the 2025 Batch B, Stream 1 corps members posted to the state during their orientation programme.

He assured the corps members of the scheme’s strategic partnership with regulatory bodies such as the National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), among others.

“This partnership is to help you register your businesses while funding institutions such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Bank of Industry (BOI), among others, are on ground to help you with start-up grants.”

The SAED officer in the State, Mrs. Carol Chukwu, appreciated the state coordinator for his overwhelming love and support for the SAED committee,

“I enjoin the corps members to make the right decisions that would impact them positively tomorrow.
