Media entrepreneur and #WithChude host Chude Jideonwo has released the official trailer for Madam President, his first scripted series inspired by true-life events, ahead of ahead of its July 21, 2026 premiere on YouTube.
Jideonwo said the three-part political drama marks his first move into scripted storytelling as an executive producer.
The series will premiere on @ChudeFilms on YouTube and explores the cost of leadership, the burden of power and the courage to challenge broken systems.
While sharing the trailer, he wrote: “Power has a price. The official trailer for MADAM PRESIDENT is here.”
Jideonwo explained that he had focused on documentaries and unscripted conversations for years before deciding to back the project.
He said Madam President tells a story that is close to his heart and is inspired by true-life events.
Cast, producers and premiere date
Consequently, Chude Jideonwo and Jennifer Mairo executive produced the series, while Mercy “Big Star” Osazuwa directed it.
The cast includes Peggy Ovire, Teniola Aladese, Ayo Adesanya, Jide Kosoko, Patrick Doyle, Grace Angalabiri, Dr Faith Adewale (BBN) and other notable actors.
Joy, Inc. and YNaija Studios produced the drama with support from Africa No Filter and CcHUB Creative Economy.
The project examines power, accountability, justice and the human cost of leadership.
The full three-part series will premiere on @ChudeFilms on YouTube on July 21, 2026. WAP TV, Wazobia TV and Rave TV will air the series later.
