Rivers United Technical Advise, Finidi George (FINITO) has grown interested in what could be the most important game of the present NPFL 2025 / 2026 Season, as the Port Harcourt based side prepare for the crucial final day home clash against KATSINA UNITED FC.
The Pride of Rivers boosted their confidence ahead of Sunday”s arrival with a 2 : 0 Victory over non – league side, G12 FC in the round of 64 of the President’s Unity Cup in Benin City on Tuesday, but there is little time for Finidi to have a good time.
“I am very pleased with the performance of my players towards the G12 FC Academy side, Finidi advised.
“The game is gone and my attention is now in the NPFL week 38 game against KATSINA UNITED FC.
This Sunday”s game in Port-harcourt is of great importance.
Rivers UNITED have to beat KATSINA UNITED and also hope that Rangers International will lose away to Ikorodu City FC in Lagos same day, so as to stand any chance of lifting the 2025 / 2026 NPFL Trophy.
