Shooting Stars FC assistant coach dies during training session

Akin Olowokere, the newly appointed Assistant Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Ibadan, has died after slumping during a training session on Monday.

According to sources, Olowokere collapsed on the pitch during the team’s morning training in Ijebu-Ode and was rushed to a hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Although there were no official reports on what led to Olowokere’s sudden death.

The sources said that the coach slumped on the pitch during the team’s Monday morning training session and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Olowokere was a former player with Sunshine Stars of Akure and later transitioned into coaching.

He had recently served as an assistant coach with Sunshine Stars under head coach Edith Agoye before joining Shooting Stars.
