Corps members have been advised to take both the in-camp and post-camp Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training seriously to secure economic independence, growth, and long-term sustainability.
The State Coordinator of NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe, gave this advice during the official flag-off of SAED activities for the 2026 Batch C Stream I orientation course for corps members deployed to the state.
He reminded corps members that their commitment to SAED could significantly impact their future well-being. “You should not be distracted by friends and colleagues, as the future belongs to those who prepare for it,” he emphasized.

Echoing his remarks, the state’s SAED Officer, Mrs. Ngozi Njoku-Nwogu, urged participants to leverage the experience and expertise of the program’s master trainers to guarantee self-sustenance.
A cross-section of corps members expressed their readiness to make the most of the training, recognizing entrepreneurship as essential for financial independence and stability.
