<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb Nkoyo Toyo will prioritize CRS education at all levels with better classrooms, support for improved teachers output, fostering practical skills and vocational training to boost productivity and service provision, STEM and tech courses to transit towards a digital economy that prepares the young people of the state to find decent jobs and explore business opportunities.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">2.Economy:</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will grow the economy of Cross River state by supporting small and medium scale businesses particularly those that advance post agriculture production. She will tie local businesses directly to attracting investors, working with the diaspora to create jobs, develop local resources and promote access to global and regional markets.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">3.Manufacturing and Wealth Creation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will build skills that facilitate local wealth by promoting mineral exploration, agricultural processing and manufacturing, creation of better jobs and incomes that impact on the quality of life of citizens.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">4.Infrastructure and Services</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb Nkoyo Toyo recognizes that there can be no meaningful development without the development of critical infrastructure in power, energy, transportation, roads waterways, railroad and ports. The ADC government will focus on delivering quality services, and build infrastructure which is not only linked to productivity but based on responsive government.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">5.Decentralization and LG Autonomy</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will pursue decentralized solutions to rural roads, electricity for homes, security, farmland for food, markets and ease of doing business, in addition, she will reduce destructive tendencies that impact on urban and rural development.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">6.Security and Safety</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will work with communities in CRS to find lasting and alternative solutions to insecurity. This will include building the capabilities and capacity of state owned security agencies and enable them to produce better intelligence, utilize technology to enable rapid response and protection of communities, homes, farms, schools, places of work and critical infrastructure.</p>

<li>Women, Youth and PWDs</li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will prioritize the welfare of women, youth, children and persons with disabilities, providing appropriate social investment programs and reserving dedicated state-backed micro-grants and cooperative business as channels for empowering marginalized constituencies and supporting underserved social groups.</p>

<li>Health</li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will grow the state capabilities to advance it’s medical services through training opportunities and assistance to make the state a net exporter of skilled Human medical resources. She will particularly revamp grassroots health clinics, ensuring basic medicines, maternal care and involvement of religious and private sector in the provision of broad and effective services. With training in community and public health, trained workers will be made widely available, they will be equipped for emergencies, provide health insurance for all categories of citizens of the state and make preventive health a viable option through healthy living information.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">9 Public service efficiency and accountability</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb. Nkoyo Toyo will run an open public service that routinely (through quarterly updates) shows how resources are spent using procurement standards that are backed by law and national regulations. Such feedback session will provide details of progress on state projects, including contracts, timelines and expenditures. The bureaucracy will be under obligation to be professional in order to meet the standards required. This means pushing for an end to “godfather” and “man-know-man” system, ensuring jobs and government contracts are awarded based on competence and merit.</p>

<li>Urbanization, Housing and Digitalization</li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amb Nkoyo Toyo will work to address urbanization and it’s declining environment, she will ensure peri-urban settings are planned and made integral to the urban areas as this will cater for mass housing and the relocation of some institutions and facilities to other parts of the state. In pushing for these reforms, attention will be given to the regional trade and business in the Gulf of Guinea and the use of technology and digital advantages to advance new frontiers of state growth.</p>
