The South East Renewed Hope Agenda, says President Bola Tinubu is ensuring that Nigerian children do not miss the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination due to financial constraints.

The National Coordinator of the President’s Support Group, Mr Belusochukwu Enwere made the disclosure on Wednesday during its free JAMB registration exercise for 10,000 students from Ebonyi.

Enwere said the president is presenting the opportunity in Ebonyi because of the belief that educationally endowed talents abound in the state.

“Tinubu is doing more to ensure that the southeast remains top in academics through this JAMB registration.

“This is not just about registration for an examination but unlocking doors of opportunity as provided by President Tinubu.

“This is about investing in the future, giving hope to families and empowering a generation that would shape the destiny of our dear state and great nation.”

The group’s national coordinator said every great nation which rose to global relevance did so on the foundation of accessible and quality education.

“President Tinubu is using this free JAMB registration to remove financial barriers which prevent many intelligent and capable students from pursuing their higher educational dreams.

“This initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s vision centered on youth empowerment, educational advancement, and inclusive development.”

He charged the benefiting students to take the opportunity serious, using it as their stepping stone to greater heights.

“Prepare diligently, study with focus, discipline yourselves and excellence must be your watchword.

“We recognise the sufferings of parents and guardians as this initiative is designed to support and ease the financial burden them.”

The Ebonyi Coordinator of the group, Mr James Alaka said the initiative in alignment with President Tinubu’s educational driven vision, is being replicated across the five states of the south east zone.

Alaka said the south east renewed hope agenda remains resolute in advancing policies and programmes which expand access to education and empower the youths.

“The beneficiaries before us are the select few from the over 10,000 students aspiring to register for JAMB in the state.

“The journey has not been easy but leadership sometimes requires difficult decisions aimed at long-term stability rather than short-term popularity.

Master Jude Obi, one of the beneficiaries thanked President Tinubu and the group for the initiative, pledging to study assidiously to pass the examination.
