Tinubu nominates Festus Keyamo as Minister

Abuja, Aug. 4, 2023: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has presented Festus Keyamo, former minister of state for Labour, as additional ministerial nominee.

He also nominated Dr Maigari Mahmud and withdrawn Maryam Shetty from Kano State.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio communicated the president’s decision at the plenary meeting of the senate on Friday.

This has brought the number of nominees to a total of 48.

Tinubu had previously forwarded a supplementary list of 19 names of ministerial nominees that included Dr. Maryam Shetty.
