Vote Against Imposition Of Candidates, YPP tells Umuahia-East

Mr Emmanuel Timothy, a stakeholder of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) has advised the electorate within the Umuahia East state constituency in Abia State, to vote against the imposition of candidates and Godfatherism at the 2023 forthcoming general elections.

Timothy, who spoke with 108scoop.com said that such had been responsible for the underdevelopment and bad governance in the state and other parts of the country.

“Democracy must be made to prevail and the people must be allowed to democratically choose who will represent them at all levels of law making.

“A wind of transformational change and positive impartation is about to blow in the Umuahia East state constituency with the emergence of Sir INNOCENT NWACHUKWU as the YPP candidate for the Umuahia East state constituency, Abia state House Assembly in the 2023 general election.

“The Umuohu Okpula Ndume-born Lagos-based industrialist is a successful business, committed to translating his experience and business acumen to human capacity development within the constituency,’’ he said.

The YPP stakeholder noted that Nwachukwu is the like of Engineer Enyinnaya Nwafor, the governorship candidate of the party, who said, had devoted energy and resources to human development in Ndume and Umuahia in general.

According to him, Nwachukwu has through his foundation assisted many people in Ndume and Umuahia, as well as engaged in community development projects.

“At this critical time for our nation, state and constituency, we need people like Sir Innocent Nwachukwu onboard in every aspect of our governance to provide the much-needed dividends of democracy to the populace.

“We must come together this time around to change the narrative in the Umuahia East state constituency, by queuing behind a tested and trusted gentleman, Sir Nwachukwu, who has demonstrated strong passion and commitment to enhancing the living standards of the people.

“Let us be wise this time around and ensure that we come out to vote for this credible candidate, Sir Innocent Nwachukwu in other to guarantee quality representation and good governance at all levels in the country.

“He added that Nwachukwu is the answer for the Umuahia East constituency seat come 2023,’’ he said.

They said that the election of the YPP candidate would enable him to continue with his human and community development drive around and across the area.
