W/African Judo Union elects Exco to run its affairs 

West African Judo Union elects Exco to run its affairs for quadrennial 

The president of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel congratulated the president and the Nigeria Judo Federation on a recent election victory.

The West African Judo election was held on January 14,  2025, in Casablanca, Morocco.

The election was staged during the African Judo Union Congress at Hotel Grand Mogardo, Morocco.

The following West African Judo Union Executive Members were elected.

Nigeria’s Judo President, Dr Musa Oshodi, was among West African executives who emerged as General Secretary.

The Exco members are:  1. Mr DABONNE Seydou:  President from Cote D’ivoure. 

2. Mr DIALLO Abdoulaye Balipily:  Vicente- President 1 from Guinea 
3. Mr  MASSAQUOI Idrissa: Vice-President 2 from Sierra Leone 
4. Dr OSHODI Musa Olakunle: General secretary from Nigeria
5. Mr RAUORE Mamadou:  Treadurer from. Mali.

Not less than twelve countries were in attendance during the Congress.
