Peter Obi, the 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has released his vision for Nigeria ahead of the presidential race.
Obi said his vision focuses on building a productive and prosperous Nigeria through unity and national transformation.
He shared the plans in a statement released on Wednesday via his 𝕏 account.
The former Anambra State Governor said his agenda is based on “a commitment to unity, inclusion, social justice, equity, and the freedom of every citizen to pursue lawful dreams.”
Obi said his reforms will focus on education and healthcare as key areas for human capital development.
If elected, he promised to create a task force to reduce the number of out-of-school children.
He also said his government will expand Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to support Nigeria’s industrial growth.
Obi said his administration will develop Nigeria’s agricultural resources and establish industrial parks in development zones across the country’s geopolitical regions.
On rising unemployment concerns, the NDC candidate also promised to tackle joblessness as part of his plans for Nigeria.
