Why Sanwo-Olu rewards LASU’s best graduating student with N10m

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded the overall best-graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU), Olaniyi Olawale, with N10m.

Sanwo-Olu announced this on Thursday at the university’s 27th convocation grand finale in Lagos.

The governor urged the graduands and the students to continue to act with integrity and lead a solution focused life as they strive to operate at the level of positive impacts.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and welfare of staff and all Lagosians.

LASU’s VIce Chancellor, Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello said the institution in the last one year had achieved a lot as it was ranked the most digitally advanced University, wishing the graduands the best in their endeavours.

The instruction’s chancellor, Gbolahan Elias said the institution is committed to deepening academic excellence for the benefit of all.
Elias urged the graduands to continue to be the agent of positive change in the society.
