July 26, 2025, marked the 10th year anniversary of my late dad whose passage left void in my life and since then that has remained impossible to fill but his memory is a constant source of light and guidance even at a time that I’m being tested.

I should have written this heartfelt tribute immediately he passed, but, however, the much I could do was to pray for his gentle soul to continue to rest in perfect peace.

A man of unparalleled integrity, he believed in doing the right thing even when it was hard or unpopular. His honesty and strong moral compass were clear in everything he did from his business to relationships with family, business associates, and friends.

He taught me that integrity is about honesty and beliefs. Dad was a loving husband and father, a core family man, an esteemed uncle, and brother to many. His love to mom was a beautiful example of good partnership and commitment. He was tough when it comes to discipline, which he built bond with mom on respect and understanding, and unwavering support.

As a father, he was patient, kind, and always there for us when the need arises. He never missed a milestone and was always so proud of us, the children. Dad had a way of giving advice without making it sound rude. His words were thoughtful and deep-rooted in experience. He taught us to approach life with curiosity and open mind, always to be ready to do something new.

He faced life challenges with courage and grace, never allowed them to define himself, and his ability to stay positive and hopeful even in the face of adversity was truly inspiring. He thought that strength wasn’t just about being physically strong but having emotional fortitude and ability to keep going no matter whatever situation.

Though he is no more, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled in us. I strive to honour his memory by living a life of integrity, showing love and kindness to others, and finding joy in simple things. His influence is woven into who I am and forever grateful for the time we shared together.

As I reflect Dad’s life, I can’t help but feel overwhelming and gratitude for an amazing father and incredible human being. A hero to his numerous relatives, your memories remain evergreen in our hearts. Adieu
