Lagos, Sept. 12, 2025: The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), says the 12th Sports Administration Course (SAC) which it is organising in partnership with other sports administration bodies will hold from Sept. 16 to Sept. 18

Tony Nezianya, NOC Public Relations Officer, said in a statement on Friday that the other partners are: Olympic Solidarity, Nigeria Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), and Ekiti State University (EKSU).

He said the event would be held at the University’s Research and Development Centre in Ado-Ekiti.

“Developed within the International Olympic Committee (IOC) framework, the course offers foundational training for sports administrators, physical education teachers, sports journalists, and other industry stakeholders.

“The curriculum will focus on Olympic values, good governance, and effective organisational management,’’ Nezianya said.

He added that led by IOC-certified National Course Directors and other leading experts, the programme aims to equip administrators with the knowledge and tools to better support athletes and advance sports development in Nigeria.

The course will be officially declared open by the President of the Nigerian Olympic Committee, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, and the Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Prof. J.B. Ayodele.
