Arik Air is working closely with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure that all international pilgrims registered with the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) are transported within the time frame allotted for this year’s exercise.
According to the management of Arik Air, already, the airline have deployed additional aircraft for the exercise and are now wrapping up the airlift in Lagos, Abuja and Kano.
In a statement on Thursday, the management added that initial hitch which occurred during the airlift is highly regrettable.
“We want to thank the leadership of NAHCON for its intervention and also appeal for the understanding of the pilgrims and Tour Operators,” the airline said.
