The Abia State Government has started recruitment for the Umuahia Bus Terminal to boost transport services and create jobs.

Multiple Roles Open for Applicants

Meanwhile, a reputable transport company in Abia State seeks skilled workers for operations, finance, administration and technical services. Available roles include Ticketing and Revenue Officers, Vehicle Data Records Officers, and Terminal Operations Officers.

Furthermore, the company also needs Customer Service Officers, HR and Administrative Officers, Finance and Accounts Officers, and Facility and Utility Officers. It also seeks Plumbers and Electricians.

Key Duties and Requirements

Consequently, successful candidates will handle ticket sales, passenger support, vehicle records, terminal safety, staff management and maintenance work. Some roles require ND, HND or BSc qualifications in related fields.

However, plumbers and electricians need a Trade Test Certificate or Technical Diploma with two to five years of experience. Customer Service Officers must show strong communication skills and prior front-line experience.
