Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi has taken to social media to share a heart-wrenching account of her battle with hyperemesis, a severe morning sickness that causes frequent vomiting during pregnancy.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Etomi revealed that she nearly lost her life in 2024 due to complications from her pregnancy. She disclosed that she underwent an emergency cesarean section (C-section) and experienced a terrifying recuperation process.

The actress also shared that her husband, Banky W, had to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor while she was pregnant and ill.

Etomi expressed gratitude to her medical team, her husband, and her loved ones for their support during her ordeal. She also thanked God for her life and for using the experience to strengthen her.

The actress concluded her post by declaring that she is now ready to take on new challenges and pursue her goals with renewed determination.

Etomi’s candid sharing of her experience has sparked an outpouring of support and admiration from fans and colleagues alike.
