Enugu, Nigeria – The Chairman of the Anambra Football Association, Chikelue Iloenyosi, alias “General”, has poured encomiums on the Founder/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Metro Frank Group Ltd., Chief Frank Obi Anyijiofor, on his deserved nomination for the National Crime Watch Magazine Awards 2024.
The Anambra FA Supremo said in a congratulatory message on Saturday to Anyijiofor, affectionately called Okeosisi (Great Tree) by admirers, that the Lifetime Achievement Award for which Anyijiofor was nominated in Real Estate Development was “Well Deserved”.
The Ex-Flying Eagles and Super Eagles star said that the nomination is a testament of Anyijiofor ‘s exemplary leadership quality and demonstration of exceptional commitment to real estate development in Nigeria.
“You excelled through several engagements in developing real estate for the Nigerian Police and other security agencies.
“You have shown ability to harness and consolidate on a wide range of business interests to increase your revenue base.
“You have proven marketing experience in brokerage services, oil and gas, tank farms and supply management.”
The “General” as Iloenyesi is fondly called, further described Chief Anyijiofor as an economist with initiative, expert knowledge and experience in the proliferation of successful private enterprises in Africa.
“You have been bonding and leading world class international companies and business interests.
“Your time in Ghana saw to the development of massive housing estates, especially for average citizens.
“You are the chairman, seats on the board of various companies and received several awards and honours due to your unquantifiable contributions to various economies and overall developments.”
He also hailed Anyijiofor’s contributions to sports, especially football in Anambra, and pledged the football association’s continued collaboration with him.
“He is one of the backbones of the the FA’s activities, especially in the organisation of state league.
“He has supported programmes aimed at discovering and harnessing talents in the youths, to prepare them for their desired stardom.
“On behalf of my family and the FA, I say a big congratulations to the Iroko as he continues to stand tall above men in issues of national development.”
